Exciting news for AIRI Jewelry & Gallery fans, especially those who have been anticipating the day we have a central location – because starting September, you will be able to find AIRI in the hub of Boston on weekends all year round.
After a six-seminar series and competitive pitch contest, the Boston Public Market named AIRI one of three local women-owned businesses an awardee of a lease-free space. An game-changing opportunity made available through the annual Entrepreneurship Forum Incubator Competition powered by Citizen Bank.
“We are thrilled to welcome this next generation of women-owned small businesses and support their success through ongoing mentorship, collaboration, and guidance” - Cheryl Cronin, CEO of Boston Public Market.
Our award-winning handmade jewelry, vibrant art prints, and culture-inspired apparel will be on full display. The Founder, Maya Alia, is filled with excitement and cannot wait to usher in this next chapter alongside two talented women-owned small businesses. She is thrilled at the opportunity to establish a new presence in the heart of Boston and bring her in-demand products to a broader audience.

“We know this opportunity will be transformational to their businesses, and we encourage everyone to check out the market and the thoughtfully crafted products and offerings these talented women are bringing to Boston” - Lisa Murray, Massachusetts President at Citizens
The Forum culminated in a pitch competition, where small business owners shared their products and business plan with a panel of judges, which included the participation of Citizens’ business bankers. The Entrepreneurship Forum, launched in partnership with Citizens in 2022, is a two-part program aimed at increasing education, opportunity, and access to the downtown stage for women and minority-owned small businesses. This year’s cohort of 39 small businesses – 77% women-owned and 72% minority-owned – participated in a six-seminar series focused on building entrepreneur’s financial and business development acumen.
Three women-owned businesses, Tiny Farmhouse, AIRI Jewelry & Gallery and Bluebird Bouquets, were recognized as this year’s winners, receiving up to a year of free rent to sell their products at the Boston Public Market.
