Shop Policies

All items are handmade, and therefore some small imperfections/inconsistencies (that fall within a normal range for a handmade item) may occur. Examples of these may include very small indentations in metal, slight variances in size, or other small marks, from what appears in the product image on the website. These inconsistencies in no way affect the functionality or overall aesthetic appeal of an item. Returns will not be accepted on the basis of small imperfections such as these.

Much unhappiness can be avoided by reading the description of each item carefully before purchasing, so expectations of the product are reasonable and attainable. We cannot replace items if they break or are otherwise damaged while in your possession, or with regular use. We are not liable or responsible for replacing lost earrings that fall off and get lost during use. If you lose an earring, please contact us for the option to purchase one single earring to match the lost one.

Although the material for most earring styles is extremely durable, handle pieces with care, which means that if you bend the parts, scratch the surface, or pull roughly on the components attached with jump rings, they will likely break. We will not replace items that have been damaged due to rough handling after they’re safely delivered to you. 

 

Shipping

Items have a 3-5 business day processing time since they are made to order. This does NOT include shipping time, which is an additional 2-5 days. During checkout you will have the option to choose Flat Rate Shipping (tracked), (3-6 days), or any preferred shipping method. Orders over $45 ship apply for free ground shipping. Please use SHIP45 at checkout to use this offer.

If you are planning on purchasing a gift, the best way to guarantee it will arrive on time is by notifying us directly before purchase. If you are confident enough time has been allotted considering our processing and shipping times, you can also include a note at checkout of the exact date that package would need to arrive, at the latest. If we do not hear from you regarding a specific date, we cannot guarantee your purchase will arrive by that day.

All items are 100% made by hand in small batches. Things occasionally get backed up, especially around holidays. When an item is shipped you will always receive a confirmation email, which includes the tracking number so that the package can be tracked on its way to you.

We are not liable for the amount of time the post office takes to scan an item once dropped off, or if a package is lost by carrier service, and will not give refunds on this basis. Once an item leaves AIRI, we are not responsible for issues that may be caused by the carrier service, including delayed delivery, lost items, stolen items, etc. We will not refund or replace these items.

 

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellation Details

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@airijewelry.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You are responsible for shipping costs for the returned item unless it is a custom order, or noted otherwise.

Refunds 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Buyer must pay return shipping if a return is requested, with the exception of custom orders. If you do not contact us within three days of delivery, we cannot issue refunds, grant returns, or mail replacements.

 

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Cancellation Details

Requests to cancel orders within 24 hours of the time of purchase will be accepted. However, custom orders and orders past 24 hours of placement cannot be canceled. This is the standard policy, and cannot make exceptions for cases of:

  • Failure to notify AIRI of a specific date the item is needed by, before purchase
  • Failure to read the information on processing times, which can be found in each item description, the checkout page, and the shop policies section.

If you're unhappy with your item once it is received, please contact us immediately so the issue can be resolved.

 

Custom Orders 

Please read carefully before making your purchase. In order for original pricing (displayed on our website) for a custom order to apply, the bespoke piece requested must be made with materials already stocked and provided by AIRI JEWELRY & GALLERY. Any projects that require earring posts, wires, beading, or findings not in the possession of our shop will incur additional fees to cover the time and costs for acquisition. Please note, including items not in our inventory will also extend the design process, and may delay the shipping date. Each piece of jewelry can take several days or weeks to create from start to finish, all depending on how you customize your order.

AIRI JEWELRY & GALLERY reserves the right to deny any custom or personalization requests. If needed, we can also update a custom order invoice during the design phase to reflect any incurred fees for additional materials and labor required to complete the project. Considering, the buyer can choose to cancel their custom order at any stage of the process for any reason. However, cancellations after checkout will not be accepted and the item will not be eligible for a free return.

We are not required to provide a refund for any custom orders, made as requested by client, if their mind has changed about the purchase for any reason. If a customer is not satisfied with the final design delivered to them, they can receive a free return to send the product back to us! This transaction must be confirmed with us and occur within 7 days from the date the product was received. The validity of the claim will be decided by AIRI JEWELRY & GALLERY, and based on that deliberation the product may be accepted for partial store credit.
